About me
Alex Brandrick is an Associate at Asset Performance Canada, bringing over two decades of international experience in Supply Chain and Contract Management across the Oil & Gas and Heavy Industry sectors. He has extensive exposure to Canada’s Oil Sands region and major global projects spanning South America, Spain, Russia, Canada, and the Middle East. Before joining AP-Canada, Alex served as Procurement and Contract Manager for Turnarounds at the Irving Oil Refinery in Saint John, NB.
Alex’s career includes leadership roles across the full project life cycle—from EPC execution and module fabrication to refining, power generation, and major infrastructure. His experience as both client and contractor has built a deep understanding of procurement strategy, contract negotiation, and project delivery in complex environments.
Throughout his career, Alex has led diverse teams overseeing Procurement & Contract Management, Materials Management, Expediting, Vendor Surveillance, and Logistics, while driving continuous improvement and audit excellence within Supply Chain operations.
He holds certifications as a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and academic credentials including an MBA and an MSc in Rotating Equipment. Alex is based in Calgary, Alberta.
